Flames make qualifying offers to eight

06/28/2010 - Calgary, AB (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Defenseman Ian White was one of eight players to receive qualifying offers from the Calgary Flames on Monday.

White was part of the blockbuster deal at last season's trade deadline that saw blueliner Dion Phaneuf heading from Calgary to Toronto. The 26-year-old tallied four goals and eight assists in 27 games after joining the Flames and had 13 goals with 25 helpers in a combined 83 games in 2009-10.

Also receiving qualifying offers Monday were goaltenders Henrik Karlsson and Matt Keetley, defensemen Gord Baldwin and Matt Pelech and forwards Kris Chucko, Brett Sutter and J.D. Watt.
